On July 22-25, 2024, the 2024 Dynamic Mean Field Theory Symposium jointly sponsored by the Department of Physics of Renmin University of China, the Institute of Materials Research of China Academy of Engineering Physics and Lanzhou Center for Theoretical Physics was successfully held in Lanzhou University. The purpose of this symposium is to promote the influence of dynamic mean field theory research in China and to provide a platform for scholars to exchange the latest progress in this field.
The symposium attracted nearly 100 experts and graduate students from more than 30 universities and research institutes to discuss the latest progress and application of dynamic mean field theory. Professor Honggang Luo, Director of Lanzhou Center for Theoretical Physics, presided over the meeting and extended a warm welcome to the participants. Professor Zhongyi Lu of Renmin University of China delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, emphasizing the significant influence of dynamic mean field theory on modern physics research. Professor Li Huang from the Institute of Materials Research, China Academy of Engineering Physics, presided over the report and conducted in-depth discussions on the frontier issues of current theoretical research.

Through a series of wonderful reports and in-depth discussions, the participating experts and graduate students exchanged the latest research progress of dynamic mean field theory in many fields.

The symposium not only showcased the latest research progress in dynamic mean field theory, but also promoted the instant exchange and exchange of ideas among the participants.

This symposium not only deepened the participants' understanding of the kinetic mean field theory, but also promoted academic exchanges and cooperation between scholars at home and abroad. During the symposium, a number of scholars shared their latest research results in related fields, which provided new research directions and ideas for the development of dynamic mean field theory. In addition, the symposium provides a platform for young scholars and graduate students to present their research and exchange ideas, motivating them to contribute more in the future.
